Consultant – Financial Services & FinTech (Mumbai)

About the role

We are seeking a Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our Mumbai office, delivering end‑to‑end projects for banking and financial services clients. The role involves research, analysis, report preparation and direct interaction with senior client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute consulting engagements from inception to delivery, conducting research, analytics and producing interim and final reports.
• Support Project Managers/Directors to ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables.
• Engage with CXOs and senior client personnel to understand needs, identify issues and present recommendations.
• Conduct client interviews, focus groups, workshops and training sessions for junior team members.
• Contribute to digital and IT strategy, supplier selection and implementation initiatives within the BFSI sector.
• Assist business development efforts, including pursuit development and thought‑leadership paper creation.

Required profile

• MBA from a top‑tier business school.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in BFSI, FinTech or financial services.
• Strong academic record and consistent performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., proprietary Cedar tools).
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, CSM/CSPO or Six Sigma (optional).
