Concurrent Auditor – Real‑time Financial Audits

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Concurrent Auditor to join EHFL’s audit team. In this role you will perform real‑time audits of home‑loan products and related operational activities, ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and Indian regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct concurrent audits of home‑loan products, loan disbursements and other operational processes to verify adherence to company policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and report deviations, irregularities or non‑compliance with established procedures or regulatory requirements.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Review loan portfolios, including applications, agreements, collateral valuation and documentation, to ensure compliance with legal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, observations and recommendations, and present them to management and relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or a related field (LLB, CA‑Inter, MBA preferred).
• Proven experience as an auditor, preferably within a housing finance company, with a focus on concurrent auditing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls and auditing standards.
• Familiarity with Indian regulatory guidelines applicable to housing finance companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear audit reports.
• High ethical standards, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
