Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

Knowdis.ai is seeking a highly trustworthy Computer Network Security Engineer to own and evolve its IT security infrastructure. Based in Delhi and working in a hybrid model, you will protect the company’s e‑commerce AI platforms and ensure resilience against emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Configure and manage Next‑Gen firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco ASA.
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities, active threats and potential breaches.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and drive rapid remediation.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to maintain compliance with industry standards and data protection laws.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and data‑science teams to enforce Zero‑Trust access controls and harden systems.
• Educate staff on security best practices and promote a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role managing complex IT environments.
• Based in Delhi or willing to relocate immediately and able to work onsite.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Next‑Gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching).
• Expertise in VPN architectures (IPsec, SSL VPN).
• Proficiency with SIEM tools, EDR solutions and network monitoring platforms.
• Experience with IDS/IPS technologies and penetration testing.
