Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

Knowdis.ai is seeking a highly trustworthy Computer Network Security Engineer to own and evolve its IT security infrastructure. Based in Delhi, you will protect critical e‑commerce and AI systems, ensuring resilience against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS.
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities, active threats and breaches; lead incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection laws.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and data‑science teams to enforce Zero‑Trust access controls and harden systems.
• Act as the primary custodian of IT security, educate staff on best practices and mitigate insider threats.

Required profile

• Based in Delhi (or willing to relocate immediately) and able to work onsite in a hybrid model.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role managing complex IT infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with next‑gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and deep knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing and switching.
• Experience with VPN architectures (IPsec, SSL), SIEM tools, EDR and network monitoring solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security, Palo Alto PCNSE) are a plus.
