Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

Knowdis.ai, an AI‑first e‑commerce technology company, is looking for a trusted Computer Network Security Engineer to own and evolve its IT security infrastructure. Based in Delhi, you will work on‑site in a hybrid model, protecting critical data and systems against sophisticated cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities, active threats and breaches; lead incident response and root‑cause remediation.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and data‑protection laws.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and data‑science teams to harden systems, enforce Zero‑Trust access controls and raise the overall security posture.
• Act as the primary custodian of IT security, educate staff on best practices and mitigate insider threats.

Required profile

• Based in Delhi (or willing to relocate immediately) and able to work on‑site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role managing complex infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with next‑gen firewalls and strong understanding of network protocols and VPN architectures.

• SIEM tools, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and network monitoring solutions
