Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

Knowdis.ai, an AI‑first e‑commerce technology company, is looking for a trusted Computer Network Security Engineer to own and evolve its IT security infrastructure. Based in Delhi, you will work on‑site in a hybrid model, protecting critical data and systems against sophisticated cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Configure and manage next‑generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet or Cisco ASA.
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities, active threats and potential breaches.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and drive rapid remediation.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and data protection laws.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and data‑science teams to enforce Zero‑Trust access controls and harden systems.
• Educate staff on security best practices and promote a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role managing complex IT environments.
• Based in Delhi or willing to relocate immediately and work on‑site.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with next‑gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching).
• Expertise in VPN architectures (IPsec, SSL).
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools.
• Experience with network monitoring and intrusion detection/prevention solutions.
