Communication & Culture Specialist

About the role

The Communication & Culture Specialist will support BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad by designing and executing communication and change initiatives that reinforce the Hub’s vision, culture and business objectives. You will act as a bridge between technology teams and the wider organization, fostering engagement and knowledge sharing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver internal and external communication campaigns across channels such as intranet, social media, LinkedIn and event communications.
• Plan, organise and manage end‑to‑end onsite and virtual events that promote the Hub’s culture and digital transformation.
• Serve as a cultural ambassador, driving initiatives on diversity, inclusion, collaboration and digitalisation priorities.
• Advise leaders on best practices for communication, change management and employer branding.
• Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication and change activities, adjusting content based on feedback and business needs.
• Collaborate with BASF’s local and regional communications networks to ensure compliance with Indian regulations and leverage local platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Change Management or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in communication, event organisation or social media management, preferably in a multicultural or digital environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organisational abilities and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in creating content for intranet, newsletters and social media platforms.
• Experience with event planning and execution (both onsite and virtual).
• Ability to analyse communication metrics and derive actionable insights.
