Commis II – Food & Beverage (Full‑time)

About the role

The Commis II will support the Food & Beverage team at our hotel in Vagator Beach, preparing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients, wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables.
• Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to recipes and quality standards.
• Cook and assemble dishes, including cold foods, while monitoring cooking times and temperatures.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely.
• Maintain workstation setup, clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, and equipment.
• Serve food in proper portions and ensure presentation standards.
• Follow company safety, security, and hygiene policies, reporting any issues to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related kitchen or food‑service experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform physical tasks for an entire shift.
• Professional appearance and ability to communicate clearly.

Required skills

• Operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
• Food preparation, portioning, and basic cooking techniques.
