About the role
We are looking for a motivated Commis 2 Chef to join our retail food outlet in Mysuru. The role focuses on preparing continental dishes and a variety of pizzas while supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas, continental menu items and related dishes following standard recipes.
- Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation standards.
- Follow hygiene, safety and cleanliness protocols in line with FSSAI standards.
- Manage stock, inventory and daily mise en place.
- Assist the Head Chef/Kitchen Supervisor during peak hours.
- Ensure timely order preparation and minimise waste.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of experience in continental cuisine or pizza preparation in a retail food outlet, QSR or restaurant.
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment and willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Good personal hygiene and grooming standards.
