Commi 1 (Salad & Sandwich Chef) – Rajpura

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commi 1 (Salad & Sandwich Chef) to join our growing kitchen team at Chai Nagri in Rajpura, Punjab. The role focuses on preparing fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps and related cold‑kitchen items while maintaining high standards of taste, quality and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare salads, sandwiches, wraps and subs according to menu specifications.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality and attractive presentation of all items.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Pre‑prepare ingredients before service and monitor stock freshness.
• Manage food stock, reduce waste and check ingredient expiry dates.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver orders on time.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in cafés, QSRs or restaurants.
• Strong background in preparing salads, sandwiches, wraps and other cold‑kitchen products.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene standards, portion control and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player with a responsible and disciplined approach to kitchen operations.
