Cloud Security Specialist

About the role

As a Cloud Security Specialist you will join TTEC’s Cloud Security team to design, implement and maintain security controls across multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). The role focuses on protecting cloud workloads, automating security operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain security controls, guardrails and automation for AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Oversee cloud posture and vulnerability management for enterprise and client environments.
• Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure, resolve findings from CSPM/CNAAP tools and report KPI metrics.
• Identify, assess and mitigate cloud‑related risks through threat modeling and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as SOC2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS and HIPAA.
• Verify that security controls are correctly implemented and functioning.
• Manage and integrate cloud security tools (CSPM, CWPP, CNAAP) into operational workflows.
• Remediate misconfigurations and vulnerabilities in cloud workloads, containers and serverless functions.
• Collaborate with cloud providers, internal teams and external auditors.

Required profile

• 4‑7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with security services in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with container security (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong understanding of networking, encryption, IAM and cloud‑native architectures.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CCSP).
• Familiarity with serverless security, micro‑services and threat modeling.
