Cloud Engineer – Platform & SRE (DevOps) (Kubernetes, IaC, GitOps)

About the role

The Webex Data Analytics Platform team is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate large‑scale, highly available cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with application development teams to ensure reliability, performance, and security of data services that process massive daily volumes.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy and maintain applications across public, private and hybrid cloud environments.
• Automate infrastructure and platform scaling using IaC and GitOps practices.
• Participate in 24x7 incident response, on‑call rotation and continuous improvement of alerting.
• Perform capacity planning to support future growth.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across infrastructure and platform services.
• Implement observability solutions including monitoring, logging and distributed tracing.
• Contribute to security hardening and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE or Cloud Engineering role.
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
• Experience with public and private cloud providers such as AWS and OpenStack.
• Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Harness).
