Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join Airbus in Bangalore. The role focuses on designing, building and operating enterprise‑scale data processing platforms on AWS and Confluent Cloud, enabling digital transformation across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to analyse business requirements and translate them into cloud‑native solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and shared libraries written in Groovy.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, AWS CDK and Serverless framework, supporting services such as Lambda, EMR, S3, Glue, MSK and Athena.
• Integrate and manage streaming data pipelines on Confluent Cloud and Apache Kafka.
• Ensure security and compliance through DevSecOps tooling and AWS CloudWatch monitoring.
• Provide documentation, support processes and incident management using ServiceNow and ITSM practices.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate or post‑graduate with 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience in cloud and DevOps.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Willingness to work in CET/IST time zones as required.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Jenkins, Groovy scripting and shared libraries.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, EMR, S3, Glue, MSK, Athena) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CDK, Serverless).
• Knowledge of Confluent Cloud, Apache Kafka, and streaming data pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools, AWS CloudWatch, Kubernetes, Docker and Git.
• Linux shell scripting and basic incident management using ServiceNow.
