Clinic Registered Nurse (Full‑Time)

About the role

Phelps Health is seeking a full‑time Clinic Registered Nurse to support the Rolla Walk‑In Clinic. The RN will work closely with physicians and mid‑level providers to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care in a fast‑paced outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and documentation while maintaining accurate medical records.
• Administer medications (oral, IM, SC, topical, IV) and perform IV push, flushes, and venous access device care.
• Perform point‑of‑care lab testing, collect specimens, and manage central line care to prevent infections.
• Conduct phone triage, relay test results, and provide patient education on MyChart enrollment.
• Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and obtain prior authorizations as required.
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, and ensure compliance with infection‑prevention policies.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or any Compact state.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• IV medication administration.
• Point‑of‑care laboratory testing.
• Central line and venous access device care.
