Clinic LPN – Rolla Walk-In Clinic (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Rolla Walk‑In Clinic is seeking a full‑time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support physicians and mid‑level providers in delivering safe, high‑quality patient care. The LPN will act as a key liaison between the clinical team and patients, ensuring smooth workflow in a fast‑paced outpatient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow clinic policies for patient safety, infection control, and safe handling.
• Administer oral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous medications as ordered.
• Assist providers with procedures, maintain sterile fields, and manage instrument trays.
• Perform phone triage, communicate test results, and document visit details.
• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and collect specimens for point‑of‑care lab testing.
• Educate patients on MyChart enrollment and provide patient teaching.
• Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and obtain required authorizations.
• Train new LPNs and medical assistants on clinic workflows.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program with an approved IV therapy course.
• Current Missouri LPN license and AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lb, stand, walk, and perform frequent patient handling.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced setting.
