Childcare Coordinator (ATSEM) – Replacement

About the role

The City of Saint-Jean de Braye is seeking a full‑time ATSEM (Early Childhood Assistant) to provide replacement support in the Anne Frank multi‑childcare centre. Reporting to the centre manager, you will ensure the well‑being and development of children while supporting families throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor children’s health, safety, well‑being and developmental progress.
• Administer medication only under a doctor’s prescription and manager’s validation.
• Create a reassuring and stimulating environment tailored to each child’s rhythm.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the pedagogical project.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards, clean and organize equipment and materials.
• Support families, foster emotional security and assist children during familiarisation periods.
• Encourage autonomy through age‑appropriate activities and daily routines.

Required profile

• Experience working with young children in a childcare or early‑education setting.
• Ability to follow medical orders and ensure safe medication administration.
• Strong teamwork skills and capacity to work under the supervision of the centre manager.
• Commitment to respecting hygiene, safety and pedagogical guidelines.
