Chief Construction Planning Expert

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Construction Planning Expert to lead the planning and execution of major bridge projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in civil works, construction planning, and project management, with a proven record of delivering large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive construction plans, schedules, and methodologies for major bridge projects.
• Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Implement advanced construction planning tools and techniques to optimise execution.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and devise mitigation strategies, including regular site inspections for safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Post‑graduation or certification in Construction Management.
• Minimum 10 years of civil works experience, with at least 7 years as a Construction Planning Expert or Project Manager on major bridge projects.
• Proven involvement in the construction, supervision and execution of at least two major bridge projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera and MS Project.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
