Chief Safety Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Safety Expert with a strong background in civil engineering to lead safety and technical efforts on large‑scale bridge and road projects for AECOM in Dhubri District.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering on medium to large projects, providing specialized technical input and approving work.
• Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients and perform quality‑control reviews of team deliverables.
• Participate in technical proposal development and provide budget and schedule estimates for large projects.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering; postgraduate qualifications in Highway or Transportation Engineering are desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience on bridge projects (cable‑stayed, suspension, extradosed, or pre‑stressed) across at least three countries, including two years abroad.
• Proven experience in road and bridge safety audits, safety management plan preparation, and black‑spot identification on highway projects.
