Chef de Partie – Recipe Development & Speciality Production

About the role

Jaipur Modern is a heritage all‑day kitchen in C‑Scheme, Jaipur, celebrated for design‑led hospitality and a strong culinary point of view. We are seeking a Chef de Partie who will own in‑house speciality production, drive recipe development across bakery and savoury, and become the creative engine of our kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Seasonal menu development: research, test and propose new dishes each season, aligned with Rajasthan’s produce calendar and the brand’s food identity.
• Recipe development for savoury and bakery items, including dips, spreads, crackers, breads and retail‑ready speciality products.
• Improve kitchen systems by creating SOPs, prep workflows, consistency documentation and recipe cards to increase self‑sufficiency.
• Produce in‑house speciality items currently sourced externally.
• Support catering operations through menu ideation, preparation and execution for private events and off‑site bookings.
• Maintain a live, costed and documented recipe library that is kitchen‑executable.

Required profile

• Professional culinary degree from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience, including work in high‑volume or large‑format kitchens.
• Current or recent CDP‑level experience.
• Equal comfort working with both savoury and bakery productions.
• Strong creative instinct backed by technical discipline.
• Rigour to document creations thoroughly.
