Chartered Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Surat

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Surat office on a full‑time basis. The CA will be responsible for end‑to‑end bookkeeping, general ledger management and the preparation of financial statements for both domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare working papers.
• Prepare and review financial statements, variance analysis and supporting documentation.
• Compute taxes, prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support audits and assessments, providing necessary schedules and explanations.
• Interact with client teams to clarify requirements, suggest process improvements and implement best practices.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience in bookkeeping, account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Proven ability to handle tax computation and compliance for businesses and individuals.
• Prior experience in outsourcing, shared services or serving international clients is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance or related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting/ERP software such as Tally, QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
