Cement Plant Engineer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

UltraTech is seeking a skilled Engineer to join its cement manufacturing plant at Petnikota, Andhra Pradesh. The role focuses on monitoring and controlling plant processes to ensure optimal performance, product quality, and seamless coordination between production and maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust key process parameters across the kiln, raw mill, and cement mill.
• Maintain product quality by overseeing quality‑control procedures and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve operational issues.
• Utilize DCS/CCR systems for real‑time process control and data analysis.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Required profile

• B.Tech or B.E. in Chemical Engineering or Cement Technology.
• 4‑6 years of experience in cement or related process industries.
• Strong understanding of cement manufacturing processes, including kiln and mill operations.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• DCS (Distributed Control System) operation.
• CCR (Control and Communication Router) familiarity.
• Basic knowledge of SAP for plant operations.
