Category Manager – Procurement (IT & Professional Services)

About the role

Revenera is seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead procurement for IT and professional services. Based in Bangalore, you will drive cost‑effective sourcing, manage supplier relationships, and integrate procurement processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and execute contracts with global suppliers, focusing on IT and professional services.
• Manage small to mid‑level procurement negotiations across all categories.
• Operate and maintain the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) platform for the full purchase cycle.
• Oversee supplier lifecycle activities: selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and due‑diligence documentation.
• Support annual cost‑reduction targets and develop RFQs for purchases.
• Secure best‑in‑class pricing or maximum value within budget constraints.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed procurement functions throughout the company.
• Lead procurement projects and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in global procurement and contract negotiations, preferably in IT or professional services.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with centralized P2P platform operation.
• Proven ability to manage supplier lifecycle and conduct thorough due‑diligence.
• Self‑starter with a sense of urgency, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, project management, and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable operating in a matrixed environment and engaging with senior supplier executives.
