Cashier – Retail POS Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Cashier to join our Amritsar store. The successful candidate will manage point‑of‑sale transactions, handle cash and digital payments, and ensure a smooth checkout experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales transactions using POS systems, barcode scanners and digital payment platforms.
• Issue receipts, manage cash drawers and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Handle returns, exchanges and discounts in line with company policies.
• Answer basic customer queries and coordinate with store staff to resolve billing issues.
• Assist with inventory and billing documentation as required.

Required profile

• Strong numerical aptitude and basic accounting knowledge.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous retail or cashier experience, preferably in electronics or consumer goods.
• Higher secondary (12th grade) education or equivalent; retail training is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Experience using barcode scanners.
• Familiarity with common digital payment platforms.
