Cargo Sales Manager – Airline GSSA (Delhi)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Cargo Sales Manager to lead our commercial activities in Delhi for Aeroprime Group’s Cargo General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) business. The role focuses on driving cargo revenue, managing forwarder relationships and positioning partner airlines as preferred choices in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed cargo revenue targets.
• Build, maintain and expand relationships with top‑tier freight forwarders, key accounts and direct shippers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing and capacity fluctuations to uncover new business opportunities.
• Negotiate spot rates, long‑term contracts and block space agreements to maximise yield and load factors.
• Collaborate with Cargo Customer Service, Reservations and operational teams to ensure seamless shipment execution.
• Analyse sales data, prepare forecasts and present performance reports to senior management and airline principals.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in air cargo sales, freight forwarding commercial roles or GSSA operations.
• Established network of freight forwarders and logistics players in North/West India.
• Deep knowledge of air freight pricing, market dynamics, IATA regulations and trade lane economics.
• Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently in a target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM tools.
• Familiarity with cargo reservation systems.
