Head of Retail - India

About the role

As the Head of Retail for the Indian market, you will partner with the Managing Director to define and execute the local retail strategy across the company’s internal boutiques. You will be a member of the India Executive Committee, collaborating closely with boutique leaders and regional stakeholders to drive performance and brand presence.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the global brand strategy into a localized retail roadmap using market insights and performance analysis.
• Set commercial priorities, monitor KPIs, and ensure achievement of turnover and category targets for all boutiques.
• Develop and implement the retail component of the 3‑year strategic plan in partnership with senior leadership.
• Define boutique‑level objectives and action plans together with Marketing, Communication, Client, and regional teams.
• Lead commercial animation initiatives to boost growth and client engagement across the boutique network.
• Contribute to sales budgeting, boutique P&L planning, quarterly forecasting, and ongoing business reviews.
• Oversee financial performance, ensuring disciplined budget management.
• Develop high‑end business strategies, including prestige community development, VIP client acquisition, and stock management.
• Lead cross‑functional projects with local and international stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in retail leadership, preferably within luxury or high‑end segments.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets, growing market share, and driving performance culture.
• Experience managing boutique managers and retail operations teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and brand ambassador skills, capable of representing the Maison at national and international events.
