Cardiac Anesthesia Specialist

About the role

We are a leading provider of advanced cardiac care in India, seeking an experienced Cardiac Anesthesia Specialist to join our high‑acuity cardiac theatres. The role involves delivering precise anesthesia support for complex cardiovascular procedures while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead anesthesia delivery for open‑heart, minimally invasive and robotic‑assisted cardiac surgeries, ensuring hemodynamic stability.
• Conduct pre‑anesthetic evaluations, including echo‑guided risk stratification and optimization of comorbidities.
• Manage intra‑operative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), invasive pressure monitoring, and rapid transfusion protocols.
• Oversee post‑operative pain control, extubation readiness, and ICU handover in coordination with intensivists and perfusionists.
• Administer advanced cardiac pharmacology (vasopressors, inotropes, anti‑arrhythmics) and titrate based on real‑time data.
• Participate in cardiac arrest codes, rapid response teams, and simulation drills.

Required profile

• DA or DNB qualification in Anesthesiology.
• ACLS certification.
• TEC/TEE certification.
• Proven experience in CABG, valve, and other cardiac surgeries.
• Strong background in invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
