About the role

Join Meijer’s new store opening team in Plymouth, MI as a Cake Decorator. You will create high‑quality, beautifully decorated cakes for a variety of occasions while delivering friendly service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily cake out‑dates and ensure freshness.
• Receive, process, and fulfill cake orders.
• Maintain cake and icing inventory.
• Prepare icings, operate decorating stations, and follow all sanitation procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with team members and leadership.
• Stock and maintain product displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Assist in deli and bakery areas as needed.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work efficiently with extreme attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Creative, energetic, detail‑oriented, and organized.
• Desire to interact with customers on a regular basis.
• All experience levels welcome; training provided.
