About the role

Join the vibrant team of Amore Gelato & Café in Kochi, serving delicious gelato, shakes, beverages, and café foods. This full‑time position offers a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment at our Kadavanthra outlet and Lulu Mall kiosk.

Key responsibilities

• Serve gelato, shakes, beverages, and café items with precision and a friendly attitude.
• Attend to customers courteously at the counter, providing excellent service.
• Operate the POS system, process orders, payments, and handle queries efficiently.
• Prepare and assemble café food items according to SOPs, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Assist with basic food preparation, plating, heating, garnishing, and packaging.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bakery staff for smooth order fulfillment.
• Maintain hygiene of the kiosk/café, clean counters, equipment, and customer areas.
• Replenish stocks of gelato, beverages, packaging materials, and operational supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and quality standards at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Support opening and closing operations as scheduled.
• Engage in upselling, product recommendations, free sampling, and promotional activities.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in F&B, retail, or hospitality.
• Basic communication skills in Malayalam and English.
• Positive, team‑player attitude with a customer‑service focus.
• Presentable and well‑groomed appearance.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Kochi.
