CAD Engineer – Technical Draftsperson

About the role

ALTEN MÉXICO is looking for a skilled CAD Engineer to produce, update and manage technical drawings for its plant. The role involves field surveys, ensuring drawing accuracy, and supporting projects, maintenance and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the master drawing list of the plant.
• Conduct field surveys and revise drawings according to modifications.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and version‑control procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance and project teams to guarantee technical consistency.
• Prepare and manage documentation required for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in field surveys and technical drawing production.
• Knowledge of industrial drawing standards and symbols.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid DC3 safety certificate and experience with As‑Built integration.
