Buyer – Bridal & Fashion Retail

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Buyer to lead sourcing and purchasing for Lulu Celebrate, our premium bridal and fashion retail division in Kochi. The role focuses on curating bridal wear, ethnic collections and accessories that meet market trends and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase bridal wear, ethnic wear, designer collections and fashion accessories.
• Identify market trends, customer preferences and seasonal buying opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure optimal stock availability and manage replenishment.
• Analyze sales data, customer demand and buying patterns for assortment planning.
• Coordinate with merchandising, operations and store teams for product launches.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to uncover new opportunities.
• Maintain accurate buying records, purchase orders and vendor documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Retail Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of retail buying experience, preferably in fashion, bridal or ethnic wear.
• Strong knowledge of bridal fashion trends, fabrics and designer collections.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong inventory planning skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with retail ERP systems.
