Business Development Manager - SDV

About the role

NXP is looking for a Business Development Manager for its SDV and Vehicle E/E architecture business in the South Asia Pacific region, based in Bangalore. The role drives business growth and owns region-specific KPIs such as opportunity funnel management, DIN/DWIN, revenue targets, POA, POS and long-term planning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse regional market trends, customer applications and competitor landscape to shape marketing strategy
• Give product lines feedback on regional market dynamics, product and solution needs and competition analysis
• Define and implement region-specific GTM strategies for SDV and Vehicle Electronic Architecture products with regional sales teams
• Drive product-related training and marketing campaigns for internal stakeholders (CAS, Sales) and external ones (channel partners, ecosystem partners, customers)
• Identify and develop ecosystem partners to enable system solutions on the NXP platform

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Ideal candidate has at least 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in customer-facing roles such as system engineering, technical marketing or similar
• Good to have prior experience in automotive OEM work on vehicle E/E architecture, network design, architecture simulations and trade-off analysis
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, occasionally internationally

Required skills

• Knowledge of SDV, vehicle E/E architecture and related products and technology
• Prior automotive electronics experience highly desired
• Excellent verbal and written English communication, analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to build business cases and negotiate pricing versus product specs and features
