Business Development Manager

About the role

Cranberry Design Studio, a Pune‑based creative marketing agency, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth. You will be responsible for generating qualified leads, presenting our digital and creative services, and managing the sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.

Key responsibilities

• Research target companies, identify decision‑makers in Marketing and HR, and build a prospect database.
• Source leads via LinkedIn, Google, Fundoodata, events, referrals and email outreach.
• Qualify leads using the BANT framework and update CRM with lead status and next steps.
• Conduct sales calls and meetings, present case studies, and tailor service proposals to client needs.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals, quotations and contracts within approved commercial guidelines.
• Coordinate hand‑over of confirmed projects to Accounts and Operations teams, ensuring smooth transition.
• Create and maintain sales assets such as case studies, presentation templates and quotation formats.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within a creative or marketing agency.
• Proven track record of generating leads, qualifying prospects and closing deals.
• Strong understanding of marketing and HR decision‑making processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams.
