Sales Executive (Food & FMCG)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Sales Executive position is based in Pune and focuses on expanding business for a leading frozen‑food processor. You will identify new opportunities, nurture existing customer relationships and support channel partners across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Meet potential and existing clients, present product offerings and negotiate prices and contracts.
• Follow up on inquiries to close sales and ensure timely order processing, delivery and payment collection by coordinating with production, logistics and finance teams.
• Track sales performance, prepare regular reports and analyse market trends and competitor activity.
• Represent the company at trade events, exhibitions and customer meetings to strengthen market presence.

Required profile

• Proven sales and business‑development experience with strong lead‑generation and client‑relationship skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to clearly explain product features and value propositions.
• Basic understanding of FMCG, food‑processing or agribusiness markets; B2B or channel‑sales experience is a plus.
• Ability to analyse sales data, prepare reports and use CRM tools or spreadsheets for pipeline management.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region and visit customers, distributors and partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Food Technology or equivalent practical experience.
