Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth by converting enquiries into orders, managing working capital, and expanding relationships with key accounts, architects, and project management consultants. This role sits within the Interio-Projects division and collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve segment‑wise sales targets and ensure order booking aligns with the annual business plan.
• Manage customer outstanding balances and control working capital in coordination with finance teams.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for key accounts, new accounts, architects, and PMCs, promoting integrated solutions across Godrej’s business lines.
• Handle enquiries and tenders, gather market intelligence, and monitor competitor activities.
• Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels through proactive service and feedback mechanisms.
• Prepare competition analysis, MIS reports, and provide actionable feedback to senior management.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech (Civil) or a bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or key‑account management.
• Strong result orientation, execution excellence, and customer‑centric mindset.
• Bold, persuasive communication with solid negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strategic thinking, initiative, adaptability, and effective interpersonal skills.
