Business Development Executive

About the role

HIREKARMA is seeking a full‑time Business Development Executive to expand its campus placement and recruitment services across colleges, universities and corporate partners. Based in Bhubaneswar, you will drive new business opportunities and strengthen the brand’s presence in the education and HR‑tech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities with academic institutions and corporate clients.
• Generate leads, conduct client meetings, deliver presentations and prepare tailored proposals.
• Maintain and grow key accounts while collaborating with internal teams to design customized hiring solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline, track performance against revenue targets and provide regular market feedback.
• Represent HIREKARMA at campus drives, industry events and forums to boost brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in new‑business development, lead generation and account management, preferably in recruitment, education or HR‑tech.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities with a focus on revenue targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bhubaneswar and travel locally for client meetings and events.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Comfort using online communication platforms.
