Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will work full‑time on‑site in Surat, focusing on generating new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts across target markets. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospects and clients, delivering tailored product solutions and ensuring smooth post‑sale support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and qualify new leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and product presentations.
• Prepare customized proposals and negotiate terms in line with company policies.
• Manage and grow key accounts through regular contact and coordination with internal teams for pricing, support, and delivery.
• Perform market research, monitor competitor activity, and attend industry events.
• Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for management.

Required profile

• Strong new‑business development and lead‑generation abilities.
• Solid understanding of business, commercial concepts, basic sales metrics, pricing structures, and negotiation principles.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging clients and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in account management and post‑sales support.
• Preferred background in building materials, flooring, chemicals, or related construction industries.
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
