Business Development Executive – International Sales (Entry Level)

About the role

We are a leading global agri‑export company specializing in premium Basmati rice. We are expanding our international sales footprint and are looking for ambitious fresh graduates to join our International Sales team and contribute to new market acquisition from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and engage potential buyers and distributors across target markets using cold calling, email, LinkedIn and trade‑show follow‑ups.
• Prepare tailored product decks, pricing proposals and sample kits that meet regional trade regulations.
• Track lead conversion, pipeline velocity and sales activity in a CRM system and provide data‑driven insights to leadership.
• Represent the brand at international food exhibitions, virtual trade fairs and networking events.
• Stay informed on global rice market trends, buyer preferences and competitive dynamics to refine sales messaging.

Required profile

• Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Basic understanding of international trade concepts such as Incoterms and export documentation.
• Willingness to travel internationally for business development activities.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot).
