Business Applications Support Specialist (Workday)

About the role

74SOFTWARE IS is looking for a Business Applications Support Specialist to join its global support organisation in Noida, India. The role provides first-line support for Workday and other business applications, covering ticket triage, issue resolution, user assistance and escalation management. Training is provided, so previous Workday experience is not required. The position is hybrid and involves a rotating shift schedule for 24/5 operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, analyse, prioritise and route support tickets through the corporate support platform.
• Provide first-line troubleshooting and resolution for user issues and service requests.
• Escalate incidents to functional experts or vendors when needed.
• Maintain accurate ticket documentation and knowledge articles, and contribute to self-service content and knowledge management.
• Take part in testing, release validation and hypercare during system deployments.
• Work with IS, business stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues on time.

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in IT support, application support, service desk or similar roles.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured support environment.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift model.

Required skills

• Preferred: Workday, ERP, HRIS, Finance or SaaS application experience.
• Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
