About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Branch Accountant to join our finance team in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and delivering accurate financial information for the branch.
Key responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate records.
- Manage TDS, GST, Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Prepare and maintain AR/AP outstanding reports.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Stay updated on TDS and GST rates, exemptions, and related compliance.
- Generate monthly branch MIS reports.
- Post vendor invoices and correctly allocate direct and indirect costs using Tally.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of all accounts.
- Adhere to accounting policies and statutory regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations (TDS, GST).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Tally accounting software
