Blister Packing Operator – Team Member

About the role

Join Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as a Blister Packing Operator responsible for safely executing bottle‑packing operations for potent oral solid dose (OSD) products. The role ensures compliance with cGMP, containment, quality, and environmental‑health‑safety (EHS) standards while maintaining accurate documentation and operator safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate bottle‑packing lines for potent products according to approved batch production records (BPR) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform bottle feeding, tablet filling, cotton induction, capping, sealing, labeling, and final packing.
• Monitor and manage electronic/mechanical counting and sensor systems to ensure correct fill counts.
• Conduct in‑process checks on fill count, seal integrity, label accuracy, and pack appearance at defined intervals.
• Maintain pack reconciliation, manage printed material accountability, and handle rejects/rework per procedure.
• Strictly follow high‑potency handling and containment protocols throughout the packing process.
• Wear prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protective equipment (RPE) such as air suits, respirators, or PAPR at all times.

• Ability to follow GMP‑based SOPs and containment procedures without deviation.

• Willingness to work in a regulated, high‑potency environment.
