BIM Modeler

About the role

The BIM Modeller develops, manages and coordinates detailed 3‑D models using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. The role supports design, engineering and construction teams by delivering accurate models, performing clash detection and producing construction documentation in line with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3‑D BIM models for architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
• Prepare detailed drawings, shop drawings and construction documentation from BIM models.
• Coordinate with design engineers and consultants to ensure model accuracy and completeness.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company BIM standards.
• Update models based on design revisions and site feedback.
• Extract quantities and generate reports from BIM models.
• Maintain proper file management and version control as per project protocols.
• Participate in coordination meetings and provide model‑based inputs.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably on metro, railway, infrastructure or high‑rise building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and detailing standards.
• Experience with quantity take‑off and reporting from BIM models.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple model versions.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (Architecture / Structure / MEP).
• AutoCAD.
• Navisworks.
• BIM 360 / ACC (preferred).
• Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and LOD requirements.
