About the role

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory team at Golden Jubilee National Hospital. This fast‑paced, specialised environment supports a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, offering an excellent opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred nursing care before, during and after cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless procedural workflow.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection‑control standards.
• Participate in post‑procedure handovers and patient education.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (NMC‑registered) with eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to continuous professional development.
• Ability to work effectively within a high‑pressure, team‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to undertake a structured induction and ongoing learning in cardiology.
