Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain reliable server‑side applications that power scalable digital products. The role works closely with front‑end developers, product managers, QA engineers and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high‑performance APIs and data‑driven services. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions that support long‑term growth and system stability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and server‑side business logic.
• Develop and optimise database schemas, authentication mechanisms and data access layers.
• Monitor and improve application performance, security and scalability.
• Perform debugging and performance tuning of backend services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code and support deployment pipelines.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working across the full backend lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Passionate about clean code, modern architecture patterns, and maintainable systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Experience in agile development environments.
