Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines on the Azure platform. You will work closely with development, QA and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure and automated delivery of cloud‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).
• Manage and configure Azure DevOps services, including version control, work tracking and package management.
• Automate build, release and deployment processes across multiple environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Bicep or Terraform.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures and optimise performance.
• Integrate security practices (DevSecOps) into the delivery workflow.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
• Configure monitoring, logging and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in Azure DevOps or DevOps engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps services (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Test Plans).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline automation.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services such as App Services, AKS, VMs, Storage and Networking.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash or Python).
• Familiarity with containerisation tools (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
• Good grasp of Git version control and branching strategies.
• Experience with Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
