About the role

The company seeks a dedicated Internal Auditor to lead and execute internal audit missions across operational, financial and compliance areas within its hotel unit. The role involves critical analysis of financial statements, risk identification and the implementation of control improvements to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and report internal audits covering operational, financial and compliance processes.
• Review internal controls, identify risks and propose mitigation recommendations.
• Critically analyze balance sheets, income statements, cash‑flow statements and other financial reports to detect inconsistencies and potential irregularities.
• Perform complex account reconciliations and validate balances.
• Assess the unit’s financial performance against budgets, targets and hotel‑industry benchmarks, highlighting opportunities for profitability and efficiency gains.
• Ensure accounting records comply with Brazilian GAAP, IFRS and internal policies.
• Develop methodologies to detect and evaluate risks of financial and operational irregularities specific to the hospitality sector.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to internal controls and processes to prevent irregularities and align with best governance practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial statement analysis and audit procedures.
• Knowledge of Brazilian GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Familiarity with the hotel or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese.
