Associate – Unsecured Risk (FST) – Captives Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Captives Advisory team in Mumbai, focusing on unsecured risk within the Financial Services Transformation (FST) practice. The role involves supporting credit‑card portfolio risk management through data‑driven analysis, performance monitoring and risk insight generation.

Key responsibilities

• Track portfolio performance metrics including delinquency, roll rates, losses and utilization.
• Conduct trend, vintage and cohort analyses to identify early risk signals.
• Support the creation and maintenance of risk dashboards and management information systems (MIS).
• Analyze performance of new‑account vintages by channel, product and segment.
• Monitor early delinquency and first‑payment default trends.
• Assist in evaluating acquisition strategies, balancing growth with risk.
• Participate in approval‑rate versus loss trade‑off assessments.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in finance, economics, business or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in credit risk and portfolio management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior analysts and managers.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Required skills
