Associate – Transaction Services

About the role

Riveron’s Transaction Services team supports clients throughout the M&A lifecycle, delivering insightful analysis, thorough planning, and impactful execution. As an Associate, you will work on buy‑side, sell‑side, operational, and tax due diligence, helping executives make informed decisions by identifying risks and opportunities unique to each transaction.

Key responsibilities

• Apply financial acumen and GAAP knowledge to assist clients on financial, operational, and tax issues related to M&A transactions.
• Conduct and review research and analysis of a wide range of financial and accounting issues.
• Prepare quality earnings and net working capital analyses for buy‑ and sell‑side deals.
• Participate in executive management interviews with target companies.
• Draft sections of reports, presentations, and other client‑facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage workstreams and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including formulas such as SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH.
