Associate Software Engineer – Java

About the role

Celonis is seeking an Associate Software Engineer with a focus on Java to enhance our on‑premise Process Mining application and support customers transitioning to our cloud‑based Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full product lifecycle for the on‑premise solution, from investigation to delivery.
• Maintain stability, security, and compliance by updating dependencies and implementing new standards.
• Improve software reliability and automate development processes.
• Assist customers in migrating to the SaaS platform.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to an inclusive engineering culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on software engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise challenges such as security, scalability, and data consistency.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
