Associate Project Manager

About the role

The Associate Project Manager will lead the operations phase of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) projects, ensuring seamless delivery of Bosch’s smart metering solutions to utility customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of AMI projects, including stakeholder coordination (customers, vendors, partners).
• Report progress to the Program Manager and senior leadership, and review operational deliverables.
• Oversee execution of Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and ensure successful project rollout.
• Conduct business process analysis, deployment planning, training development and delivery.
• Interface with internal and client teams to complete project activities and maintain project documentation.

Required profile

• B.Tech / MCA or equivalent technical degree (project management or ITIL certifications are a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of total IT experience, with at least 5 years in AMI or Smart Metering domain.
• Strong understanding of DLMS/COSEM, Smart Metering standards (IS16444, IS15959‑2/3), RF and cellular communications, and integration across ecosystem components.
• Experience with AMI components such as HES, MDM and WFM, and familiarity with cloud and security aspects.
• Ability to travel as required.
