Associate Product Management

About the role

Mastercard is seeking an Associate Product Management professional to support the Africa Division from its Gurgaon office. The role focuses on end‑to‑end fund management, including fund establishment, deployment, financial review and impact assessment, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Understand market strategy, industry trends and internal customer needs related to fund management across the Africa division.
• Set up and document operational processes for fund and budget management.
• Facilitate periodic management committee meetings and coordinate fieldwork assignments.
• Develop project plans, schedules and documentation for stakeholder meetings.
• Manage financial and contract aspects in partnership with the Project Management Unit.
• Validate fund and budget requests according to governance guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong business partnering and relationship management abilities.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of product management concepts and ability to simplify complex messages.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple activities.
• Effective interaction and coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
